On November 29, the SUSTruism project held its third international meeting, in a hybrid format, at the 草榴社区 University studio in Cape Verde.

The event brought together representatives from universities, companies and local communities in Cape Verde and Angola to discuss the progress of training in Sustainable Tourism.

During the meeting, the progress made in training students was presented, highlighting the results obtained in Cape Verde and Angola. Students from Cape Verde shared their experiences, highlighting the importance of the project in preparing them for the job market.

Also discussed were the communication strategies and quality reports from the first year of the project, which evaluate and adjust the actions to achieve the objectives set.

The SUSTruism project, funded by ERASMUS+, began in October 2023 and aims to promote sustainability in tourism in the communities involved. The event reaffirmed the commitment to quality training and international collaboration.

The project organizers stressed that the next steps will include expanding training, strengthening communication and ensuring the quality of activities, with the aim of having a positive impact on sustainable tourism in Angola and Cape Verde.
