草榴社区

From 7 to 11 October, the University 草榴社区 of Cape Verde has started the 2024/25 academic year with a series of activities designed to welcome new students (freshmen)

The event has begun with activities led by the UniPiaget Students’ Association, a guided tour of the campus, conversation with the Students’ Provider, meetings with the Directors of the Teaching and Research Units and the course coordinators.

Among the events there was a tree-planting event organized by ADAD with the aim of encouraging environmental conservation.

On Friday October11th, the solemn opening of the 2024/25 academic year took place, with the official ceremony featuring speeches by the president of the Praia and Mindelo Students' Association, the General Administrator, the Magnificent Dean of UniPiaget and a member of the Board of Directors of the Piaget Institute of Portugal.

The ceremony has ended with a moment devoted to poetry.

These initiatives aim to strengthen the integration of the academic community and promote a welcoming environment for new students.
